Oculomotor Dysfunction

Oculomotor Dysfunction (OMD) is a condition of deficient eye tracking skills. This is also refered to as ocular motility disfunction or eye movement disorders. The patient with OMD will often skip lines or words when reading, reverse word order, show excessive head or jaw movement when reading or following a moving target, or see words swimming across the page when reading. OMD is often found in conjunction with other binocular vision disorders.
